Blogville subscribes the following axiom:

"2001: A Space Odissey is the greatest film ever made."

Now, unlike the polite and sensible Exurb2a, this blog will definitely have an heated debate with you if you think otherwise. If you think any other movie is a better movie, that's not like totally fine. At all. You must have a problem of perception or you are a creature lacking sense, taste and sensibility. In both cases, you should not carry such things as opinions. And that's that.

If by any chance you agree with the axiom above, congratulations. Here's a great review that you surely will enjoy.

And as a creature of sense, taste and sensibility, you will probably also appreciate the wise words quoted at the end of the clip:

"We were born of risen apes, not fallen angels, and the apes were armed killers besides. And so what shall we wonder at? Our murders and massacres and missiles, and our irreconcilable regiments? Or our treaties whatever they may be worth; our symphonies however seldom they may be played; our peaceful acres, however frequently they may be converted to battlefields; our dreams however rarely they may be accomplished. The miracle of man is not how far he has sunk but how magnificently he has risen. We are known among the stars by our poems, not our corpses."
