COVID Death Toll Under Biden Set to Surpass Trump, In Less Time

The U.S. death toll from coronavirus under President Joe Biden is set to surpass the number of fatalities recorded under Trump in less time, despite the fact that the vaccine wasn’t available during Trump’s time in office.
Figures from Johns Hopkins University show that 378,955 people died from COVID-19 in the United States during Biden’s first ten months in office.
That compares to an pre-existing death toll of 396,442 before Biden took office.
The death toll will have more than doubled after Biden’s first year in office despite him running on a campaign platform during which he directly blamed Trump for COVID deaths.
During his final debate with Trump, Biden asserted that “anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths” – 220,000 at the time – “should not remain as President of the United States of America.”
Suffice to say, Biden has indicated he will run for president again in 2024.
Despite the widespread availability of vaccines, more people have died from COVID-19 in 2021 than in 2020.
