Outra constante que me deixa completamente abismado é a influência que Epstein, que me parece em tudo um tipo intelectualmente vulgar, detinha sobre as elites na América e por todo o mundo. Monarcas e oligarcas, ditadores e banqueiros, bilionários e tecnocratas, dirigentes desportivos e académicos, militares de topo e cientistas célebres, diplomatas e gurus, estrelas de cinema e artistas consagrados, ministros eeconomistas da extensa geografia global recorriam a este desprezível e medíocre indivíduo para conselhos e dicas, cunhas e convites, confissões e terapia.
Epstein reunia com líderes políticos e chefes de Estado regularmente e esteve no epicentro de alguns, muitos, dos eventos que marcaram os últimos 30 anos.
A conclusão a que se chega rapidamente é óbvia e não é nova: as massas são dirigidas globalmente por um bando de imbecis sem nome (grande parte deles, pedófilos e doentes mentais).
